چکیده

Several technologies have been used to overcome current challenges in dentistry throughout the last few decades. Laser technology is most recent addition this group of technologies. Because its great precision, biocompatibility, and side effects, it has had a significant impact so supplanted several traditional procedures. For past two decades, lasers well-integrated clinical dentistry, enabling practical choices management both soft hard tissues, with growing usage field prosthetic dentistry. One their key advantages that they can deliver extremely low high concentrated power at precise location on any substrate using method available. New approaches are provided for development prosthodontic treatments demand energy levels careful processing, such as metals, ceramics, resins, well time-consuming laboratory processes like cutting restorative materials, welding, sintering. Lasers wide range applications, use prosthodontics seen them replace stainless steel scalpels optical respectable extent surgical other ways. A new horizon will address these flaws, but also come own set hazards restrictions. The purpose article discuss application uses prosthodontics, how revolutionized patient care. future project could be intraoral laser devices.

Intraoral Laser Welding (ILW) in Implant Prosthetic Dentistry: Case Report

The aim of this clinical study was to describe the possibility of using the Nd:YAG laser device utilized in the dental offices to weld metals intraorally. The authors, before applying this technique "in vivo" on human subjects, tested the "in vitro" metal welding efficacy of dental Nd:YAG device firstly by interferometry, SEM, and EDS and subsequently by thermal camera and thermocouples in orde...

Scientific revolution in dentistry

In his book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, Thomas Kuhn argued that a scientific revolution takes place as the result of an episode of noncumulative changes where one paradigm is replaced in whole or in part. Kuhn observed that the process of a scientific revolution begins with an existing paradigm, during which normal science is performed. Eventually, an increase in anomaly leads to a...
